Plan of the Day 12 April 2021

4/12/2021

We will drill in person Monday, 12 April at 1900. Uniform is Navy Working Uniform (NWU) Type I or Type III.

This week's drill will be in person. I'm aware that it might rain. If it looks like it will be more than light we will stay indoors and maybe shorten the drill time. For now plan on normal drill as we have been doing. We will keep with the current format and start immediately with some Flagship event practice while we still have light. We will plan on formal quarters at 2040 at the end of drill. Same intake procedures a last week. We will have to take everyones temperature before you get out of your vehicle. We have to fill out attestation and intake forms. Please ensure your parent/guardian signs the forms. See below to download the forms so you can fill out ahead of your arrival. Regardless we will have forms available on your arrival  If you are driving yourself you must have your parent/guardian sign before you leave home. If you are 18 you can sign your own forms.

We will continue to review records and ask parents to come in at the beginning or end of drill to sign required forms. If you took home forms please have them signed before you come to drill. For parents, please visit our annual inspection page for information and to download forms to fill out ahead of time if able.

We are going to refine Flagship participation tonight as we still have some release forms to sign. Visit our Flagship page for more information. The date is Saturday 24 April. Muster will be at the Division as early at 0530 for a 0545 departure, be prepared, yes it's early but we need to be in Cape Cod by 9 am. I advertised the cost per cadet at $30.00 verbally but may have indicated in writing elsewhere that it was $35.00. I apologize for the confusion and will make it official at $30.00 regardless of what is written before. Anyone who paid $35 and wants a refund, please let me know.

Again the uniform is NWU. Bring your parka or fleece liner as it may be chilly with light rain and we will primarily be outdoors, if the rain permits. If your uniform no longer fits, bring it in to exchange, this includes Dress Whites as we will need them in May. We will try to accommodate as many uniform updates as possible but will take care of the new recruits first. For the new cadets without uniforms, wear casual clothing appropriate to the forecast temperature. All cadets will wear masks. The following tasks will be accomplished:
  1. Flagship Practice
  2. Flagship forms/payment/particiaption
  3. Service Record updates for Annual Inspection
    1. Report of Medical History. Form links: PDF or MS Word
    2. Report of Medical Examination. Form link: PDF or MS Word
    3. Report Of Medical History Supplemental. Form link: PDF or MS Word
  4. RT Update
  5. Flagship team assignments
  6. Flagship items inventory
