DEALEY Division will participate in Bridgeport's Basket Brigade. This event prepares and distributes Thanksgiving meal baskets to needy families and veterans. We will provide traffic control but will assist in building and distributing baskets as required. Check the weather often. See note 6 and come prepared. We will be outdoors most of the time.
- Date: Saturday, November 18, 2023.
- Muster: 0800.
- End of event: 1200-1300. Keep checking this page and your email for updates.
- Uniform: NWU Type III. You have been issued uniform items to stay warm, though it will be relatively warm on Saturday. Rain will be the issue to contend with. Bring your parka which is waterproof or your fleece at a minimum.
- Location: Public Works Facility, 581 N. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, 06604. Cadets can be dropped off and picked up at the end.
- Weather: A chance of rain before 7am, then a slight chance of showers between 7am and 1pm. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a temperature rising to near 54 by 11am, then falling to around 46 during the remainder of the day.
