1. ​Welcome back from summer training and vacation. Hopefully you are settled in school and ready to commit to Sea Cadets.
2. We will set up for normal opening quarters outside. We will start promptly at 1900 so please arrive early to set up.
3. Wear your NWU Type III uniform. Sleeves rolled up if you wish. Bring any uniform items that do not fit for replacement tonight or any drill in September.
4. BRING in your SERVICE JACKETS. Additionally bring in  your CERTIFICATES so we can scan and present to you.
5. We will discuss upcoming events such as Presentation night (tentatively 3 October), Veterans Day, Basket Brigade and Wreath Across America.
6. We will take care of as many administrative tasks as possible.

• 11 September 2001 - American Airlines Flight 77 is hijacked by terrorists and hits the Pentagon, causing 184 fatalities. Specific to DON, the fatalities are: 33 military personnel, six civilians, and three contractors. American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 hit the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center, New York City. United Airlines Flight 93 goes down in Shanksville, PA, after passengers engage the hijackers.
