NLCC Mountain Rescue Operations Advanced Training (Registration Extended to MAR 4)

​How would you like to be trained in mountain rescue operations and earn a Master At Arms (MAA) Shield??   

Registration for online NLCC Mountain Rescue Operations course has been extended to March 4 (just days away).  

This online course will:  

• expose League Cadets to mountain rescue operations
• allow League Cadets to complete an online “swiftwater” rescue awareness and cold weather emergencies course 
  
• provide League Cadets with rescue operation skills and teach them how to tie rescue knots and give a presentation

Additional details: Cadets will attend an online Zoom meeting each week for approximately 1 hour each. If a cadet does not complete the full series of topics, or courses, credit will not be provided. Cadets must pass all quizzes at 80% or better. All coursework must be completed by 11APR21. The course is expected to take approximately 25 hours to complete. The course is completely virtual with weekly Zoom meetings. Any missed meetings require the cadet to view the video and provide a response. Staff cadets must be NSCC cadets and are required to complete the coursework as well.
