Summer Academy Programs: We encourage eligible cadets to apply for programs offered by our nation's service academies. These programs are a great pathway for our cadets who are exploring the service academy option and for cadets looking for an extra challenge. Click this link to learn more >> Read all about it. All summer programs will count for Advanced Training credit. West Point’s Middle School STEM program will be available for NLCC AT credit. US Naval Academy trainings (NASS and STEM) are eligible for refunds at this time. We will notify the field if funding will be available for the remaining academy programs. Updated NWU Type III Uniforms from Trooper: Back-ordered items: are expected to arrive at Trooper in mid-March. Units should expect to receive back-ordered items starting in early April. Uniforms available for purchase: Trooper will receive new inventory in mid-March. We will notify the field as soon as that's available. In the meantime, we are pleased to offer to all units the opportunity to access leftover inventory, at no cost to the unit except applicable shipping charges. Monthly Drill: Did you know that Operation Trident Watch broadcast is full of interactive activities? Yep, it's true. In addition to all the online challenges, we will be having a good old fashioned Knot Tying Lesson and an East Coast vs. West Coast Knot Tying Competition. This activity will take place during the final hour of the broadcast so everyone will be able to participate live. Ensure that your Cadets have a piece of rope, string, a lanyard, or even a shoelace so they can be part of this exercise. Operation Trident Watch launches this Saturday, February 13th, at 0900 (EST).
