National Headquarters Update

TRAINING:    
Advanced Training: National Headquarters is pleased to announce that the advancement credit cap on virtual trainings has been lifted and all virtual trainings will be allowed for advancement. Cadets will no longer be limited to virtual trainings in their promotion matrix.   
Optional Monthly Drill Opportunity: This month’s drill, Operation Trident Watch (OTW), is Saturday, 13 FEB 2021 from 09000-01200 EST. This exciting opportunity will feature content and activities made by our cadets, for our cadets. Please see the attached mission briefing for more information. EXPENSES:   
We are switching to a new instance of Bill.com as we transition to our new accounting system. All past users of Bill.com can expect a new invitation from us to join us through the Bill.com network. Please be assured this is not spam and is not a duplicate request. You may need to update your ACH information when you connect over the network, please ensure it is correct for the most prompt payment methods.    
RD expenses will continue to be tracked through Expensify while we get the new system up and running with the new accounting software. Instructions on the new system are pending and will be sent out closer to the time of rollout.   
    
HOMEPORT:   
Publications revisions and new form templates: Recent updates and/or revisions have been made to the following publications on Homeport: The Marksmanship Training Policy, the Awards Manual, and the 2021 Liability Insurance Policy.  
    
MAGELLAN Update:   
The Unit Demographics page now has a field to input your unit-level fees for new enrollments, renewals, and uniforms. As the first step toward accepting credit and debit card payments from parents for enrollment, we need to collect this information. Please input these figures into Magellan> Unit Mgmt > Unit Demographics by the end of February.
