He is currently stationed at PATFORSWA with The Maritime Engagement Team (MET), which is responsible for maintaining currency of cutter boarding team VBSS qualifications. Lieutenant Brianna Townsend hails from Colchester, Connecticut is currently serving as the Commanding Officer of the Coast Guard Cutter Wrangell in Manama, Bahrain. She has also deployed to Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. She was selected to Surface Warfare and served her first tour onboard USS STETHEM (DDG 63) in Yokosuka, Japan. After three-year tour in Japan onboard STETHEM, she served her second tour onboard USS HALSEY (DDG 97) stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
